How Ground Anchoring Work

Ground anchors generally work by having them driven into the ground using a drive rod and impact hammer, however, installation methods will differ depending on the ground and soil. Test installations are always important to have done to determine the right type of ground anchor needed.

Once the impact driven anchor has been installed, the drive rod is then removed and the anchor is locked. This is done by rotating it 90 degrees. Once this is done, the ground anchor applies effort to the soil above it, while the soil providing resistance.
